Arrested to Arrested Development: Season 1 Overview

What a great way to kick off this show. The first season includes just enough to give you full, three-dimensional looks into all the members of the Bluth family and their quirks. We realize through and through that this family wouldn't be the same without any of these folk, yes even Lindsay and Lucille. It is these characters that clash and clash so well that make us keep coming back for more, even when we're not laughing. There's something about the family dynamics that keep our attention and draw us in and I think it's the fact that the Bluth's represent dysfunctional families across America in the new millenium. With this first season, the Bluth family breaks boundaries. The humor is racy, the characters are awkward.  But what would the show be if they weren't? That's why we love watching these characters, because either their bumbling awkwardness and family dynamics make us feel better about our own lives and families or they make us realize we relate to the Bluth family a lot more than we're willing to admit. The first season is a great first season to any show. It gives us a good chunk of what to expect, yet leaves breadcrumbs of hope that it can and will only get better from here.

And so, we have crossed our first milestone and it wasn't a huge mistake. Cheers!
