Arrested to Arrested Development: 117 - Justice Is Blind
"Oh now you love the ten commandments, yet you're the one who so conveniently forgot "Thou shalt protect thy father, and honor no one above him, unless it be-eth me, thy sweet Lord."
"I'm not sure that one made it down the mountain, Gob."
Blind ambition continues to see its way through and through as just about everybody tries to doop somebody, though all seen through the eyes of the Lord... and some other folk, on this week's Arrested Development.
I loved just about everything in this episode, including Maeby's crippled-twin-false-identity known as "Surely," but to get right to the point, our twists continue following the adventures of Michael Bluth and blind Maggie, the highlight being the following events revelaed simultaneously:
- Michael returns the files on his family to Maggie and reveals the truth about himself.
- Maggie reveals she knew he was Michael Bluth all along and that the files she gave him were fake as a test.
*Side note* Gob attempts to dispose of and eat said files he thought were confidential.
- The family wants to sneak into Maggie's house and steal the real files.
- Tobias, believing he is most fit being an actor, volunteers himself to steal said files...
- Maggie comes home while Tobias discreetly maneuvers around her place.
- Michael, while watching Justice, the seeing-eye-dog, loses track of said dog when pretending to be blind to see what it's like... and said dog gets hit by a car.
- The vet reveals to Michael that it's cruel someone would dress up a blind dog as a seeing-eye dog...
- And Michael realizes it is not Justice but Maggie who is the one with seeing-eyes.
- Maggie, pretending to be blind, tries to get Tobias who wears her clothes and sprays her aroma to throw her off.
- When in close enough range and out of ideas, Tobias sprays Maggie in the eyes... temporarily blinding her.
- When Michael tries to prove to the court that Maggie is in fact not blind, by throwing a Bible at her face...
It seems just about everyone this episode has learned a valuable lesson from the Lord...
...Well, almost everyone.
