Arrested to Arrested Development: 109 - Storming the Castle

"Why does he want to break your legs?"
"He doesn’t want to break my legs. He wants to take my legs."
"...I--I don’t...
"The legs. You know, the bottom half of my “Saw the Lady in Half” trick."

It's no secret with Development, that the show's greatest trick is Gob Bluth (up for debates if there's disagreement). Whenever he's on screen, the show shines a little more. I don't know if it's Will Arnett who simply just nails the role, or if it's the mystery; the devious stupidity of the character's cleverness that's appealing, but another thing for sure, as I've said before, is that Gob and Michael definitely have the best on-screen chemistry. They really do feel like brothers and here we're treated to good old fashioned sibling rivalry.

Michael, having been deemed such a good guy all his life, wanted to prove that he might have a vengeful bone in his body. Acting on his strong feelings for Gob's rocky relationship-ridden Marta, and against his aggression for knowing Gob cheats on her with the legs of his performance (it's exactly as it sounds), Michael plotted to sneak Marta into the saw-box for an unsuspecting Gob's latest and greatest trick, out of spite and jealousy masquerading as a ploy to help fix Gob and Marta's relationship, unaware that he is doing just that, making him out to be not such a bad guy after all.
George Michael, not being masculine enough for Maeby, used his hairless, feminine legs as part of the act bringing together a good old family reunion on stage.

Surprisingly in a Gob-themed episode, while Buster begins officially dating Lucille 2 and Papa Bluth finds religion behind bars, sporting a piece of a shoe on his head resembling a questionably offensive yamaka, the highlight for me was a previously absent Tobias who ends up in predicaments that would only suit his character.
Wanting to bond with his now pro-leather daughter (who wishes to spite her anti-leather mother), Tobias seeks out a leather outfit in attempt to receive Maeby's respect.
Obviously this can only lead from one bad thing to another, as per usual on AD, and the situational discrepancies couldn't have slipped by any better.

Between buying the outfit...

"I’m looking for something that says, “Dad likes leather.”
"Something that says...“leather daddy”?
"Oh, is there such a thing?"

Miscommunication with the cabbie...

Cab Driver: (Cockney accent.) "Where to, mate?"
Tobias: "The Gothic Castle."

And "On the next Arrested Development..."

We feel that tight, brotherly love.
