Arrested to Arrested Development: 105 - Charity Drive

"I mean, I guess it would just be a guy who you know, grabs bananas and runs. Or, um, a banana that grabs things. I don’t know. Why would a banana grab another banana? I mean, those are the kind of questions I don’t want to answer. "

With Charity Drive, the show continues to evolve but remain comfortable in letting its characters evolve. Lindsay wants to prove herself (or just the family, really) worthy to nature by attempting to dry up the wetlands, Buster is conflicted with his relationship with Lucille 2 and instead of avoiding her like he plans, he instead leads her on even further, while Michael wants to prove he truly cares about his family and the... folks involved with them.

There's not always much to say with a fairly typical (but always brilliant) episode of Development, rather than address the highlights and they are as follows:

Between Gob whistling while he speaks, due to losing his tooth to a candy apple, and inconsequently being called out on fraud in attempts to get a permit on his "banana-grabber" animation rights...

...Michael picking up whom he thinks is his mother's house cleaner from the bus stop, but inconsequently is a complete stranger who thinks Michael is going to kill her...

"I know that one! Left turn it is!... And they call me selfish."

...and Buster inconsequently bidding $10,000 on the wrong Lucille...

This face.

This was an episode filled with the usual series of unfortunate, inconsequent events...

...And we wouldn't have it any other way.
